Communication by Song

A new way of communication developed.

Seemingly random song titles seemed to spell out a certain option of responses. He selected a few that coincided with what would be his response to the implied question.

“Last man on Earth” he picked. A few more titles appeared “Parallel Universe” “Insight in an Unsiezable W...” “Enjoy the Moment”. He waited for a response. Slow Internet prevented the actual songs from instantly playing until the last one suddenly sprang to life. “Customized Man” “You Don't Know” “The Funeral”. He thought he recognized one as coming from someone specifically “Karpov-Kasporov” seemed to imply a chess-like game, the music from “The Funeral” seemed to fit the mood he was aiming for though, with the heavy implication that he knew he might be assumed dead on the other side of existance.
“The Day we Made Contact” made a nice transition. “Want for Nothing” was his way of letting them know everything was fine. Nanobyte – to imply that the contact was made through computer. “One Step Closer” followed shortly by “Creator”. It crashed into “Fake Lobsters” which was fortunately by “Justice and Mercy”. “For a Lifetime / Ascension” to indicate the type of tangent he was looking for. “Tidewarp / Further” to cover the physics of it. “3.1.6” switched into “Dramatic Orchestra” and he immediately went to click it. “Love and Pain” and “Midnight” were potential candidates, but he held back. “Lightwave” was also tempting, but might be redundant at this point. “Pearls of Peace” also seemed to convey the right idea of asynchronous time. “My Mind” was another track too good to pass up. He waited for the music to cache. It never did. “Make Me Crazy” was the challenge – it played – “Initiation into our Tribe” seemed to linger for longer than it should have. He resisted the urge to play it safe. “Future Prohibition Blues” he laughed wryly. “Maps and Diagrams – Sinking Backwards” to spell it out. “It ain't me” to point out the possible doppelganger – and back to Diagrams, to hopefully hear it before it timed out. 1:53 / 4:30 “The Horn Track” was what he expected them to 'hear' in his absence. The fact it was from “Egyptian Empire” was a nice touch. “Angels Landing” was another safe bet, but he wanted “Game On”. “Sunset Prelude” sat beside “Till the Sun Comes Up” - too coincidental not to notice. The first song played for a few seconds, then again, for a longer stretch. “Inner Sanctuary Remix” would be a good name for Timefiction 139. “I Tried (Original Remix)” spelled out his apparent course. “End of the Beginning – LONER” encapsulated a few thousand years for him. His muscles ached as if he had just done a few hundred years of building and planting. Which was true, in a way. 3:24/3:25 “Stumbleine – Cassette” seemed like a good clue to drop off first. “Moana (How Far I'll Go)” was clicked but it quickly switched to “Run to the Future”. No need to spoil things ahead of time. “The Unchanging” (Atom Smith...)” seemed like it would be a good name. The audio wasn't quite what he was expecting, but it was suitable. “You Are Alive” “Wake Up” “World Of Joy” were all good potential clicks. He picked the first one. “From the Ear To The Brain / Hardsequencer” just to focus on the fundamentals again – and possibly hint at the problems with relying on too fixed of a foundation. “Proper Language” “Roses are Red” and “Desperate Religion” all carried some meaning, but he went for “Find the Only One 2K16” steering away from the expected, the obvious and the insulting (in that order). “Pearl II” Facebook intruded, but at a good time. Guess what, you only think you know people. “Strictly Virtual” to cut to the chase. “Childern of the Future” and “Lost for Words” might have also worked. “Shadrack” for [spoiler] standing in a different kind of furnace. “Edge of the Sky” to explain the limits or “Objective Reduction” to break it down again. Transition to “Chrysalis” before switching to “Motive One” “Let the Beat Go On” but preferably “ Change Consciousness”. “Indicator” for a bread crumb, let them know when I'm 'Live' and when I'm 'simulacrum' “Mr Kirks Nightmare” aka Kobioshy Maru type scenario. “Still here” for the (Tropical Remix) observation. Went to “Indicator” but it changed to “Beautiful Together – Oceanlab” Finally, progress! A long pause on that. 1:04/7:06 “Path of Virtue” for a bit of historical perspective, followed by “Stargazer” and “Around the World”. “Universal Religion” for obvious reasons – notably 'Chapter One'. “Train by the Autobahn” for Illustration 'Part 2'. Yes. I'm there. “Initiation Into Our Tribe” sitting like an unread email, clicked, to be followed by “The Moment You Don't Know” for a perspective shift. A query. A confusion. “Last Stop” has been warned. “Still here” for the people not paying attention. “Visible Energy” for the explaination. “Ultimate 1 hour Mix” at 1:05:43 length. Currently at 15:45 (not playing). For calibration. “You Can't Stop” for encouragement. “Sleeping In My Car” for the extended autobahn illustration. Clicking for “Here's Johnny” morphed to “Church of Extacy”. “Bells” for a call. 15Min earlier. A message – Recolour this (to red). “Aftermath # 01” to recap the initial pass. “Anagram” for another riddle. “Evrybody” for the truncated version. Major refresh of page.

Day 2

“Follow Me” “This Time”. “It Takes Time” all good potentials. “Patch Test” seems most appropriate. Assuming all of this has some influence on future choices, or at least one branch. “Holy Cities (Motion Drive Remix) / Zen Mechanics” “Forever” “Planet Perfecto 418” to narrow down the bandwidth. “Imbalance”. Maybe top row 'them' bottom row 'me'? Define them “Heaven's Gate”. Define me “Brootle (Simulant Remix)” “Turn This Club Around” shifts to “Once Upon A Time” (Lyrics). “The Dreaming” might a signpost of how now looks like to them. Seemed to overwhelm the system. “Planet Perfecto” to dial in again. “Waiting (Unplugged..)” <Break> “Planet Perfecto” “Safe Wherever You Are” obviously “Square Time”. “Settle the Score” “Gate Crasher Resident Transmission 02 CD 3”. “The Future is Now” (not playing) “Behind The Example” (not playing) “Hard Time” (Switched) “Future is Now” (Almost Over) “Darkness” (lyrics fit) “Unified Field”. “La La La La La” “Intelligence (Doctor Bendz Remix)” “Variable X” “Christ!!!” outside of a certain context, it seemed to have a blasphemous taint to it. Inside another – an almost limited scope. “God's Channel” that sounded promising. “Everyone in the Place / Progidy” played first. 'Astropilot' sounded too much like autopilot. “Raw Mission” – he opened up the list from the top 16. “Elevator”/”Black Hole”. He stretched the truth about why the songs were written down. “Talk to My Skin” / “Paper Heart” “Control U Inbox” referencing the 141 document. “Crystal Genesis” to reference a past theory. 5:21”Back Again” “Apologize” “Theory of Relativity””Not Playing God” “I Need To Know””Future In The Past” “Quantum Progress 043 / JT Parker 23 Oct 2018” “Structure of the Invisible World” “Cosmicleaf At D1 004 (August 2018)” “Perfect Sequence” “A part of myself is somewhere else” “Tree Of Life (Magnetik Remix)” “In Time (Singularity Remix)” “Lifting / Henry Hacking” “Reality Fault” “Moon Town” “Full Moon Tale” “The Road” “Night Before The Launch” “Reason” “Cosmic Hour Radio Show 032 (May 2018) Moon Tripper with guest SUN” “Do You Want To Perculate?” “Bassjackers vs. D'Angello / All Aboard” ** “Mad World / Olly James and Ryan & Vin Remix” ** “Change of Subject” “End Game VIP” “Tesseract” “Beyond Here and Now” “Unfamiliar Energy” (Did Not Play) “My Religion (Gridlocked Remix)” “Where Do We Begin” “Destroy Everything You Touch” “Enjoy the Noise” “A Million Memories” “Hyper Reality Radio Episode 93 (18 October 2018)” “Studio Apartment – Found Him ” 4:41 “White Horse” (Did Not Play)
