Time in three dimensions takes a bit of
getting used to. One temporarily suspends the normal movement and
moves along the time axis instead.
A step to the side shows the past
locations of a person as a line, skew slightly to see a keyframe-type
still 'cells'. Moving backward along to the time line one can make
changes, as long as you anticipate the end result and work backwards.
From a recovery position to a throw and
a ball on the ground will jump into your hand. The logical
progression of things ceases to be. The end result, a teardrop of
time with the initial focus in an island in the middle, and all the
acted possibilities in a swirling mass around them, waiting to be
waded through again.
